Statements Regarding the Attacks on London Peace and justice groups around the world have issued statements following the attacks on London:
Veterans for Peace Declaration of Impeachment Veterans for Peace issued a Declaration of Impeachment using the language of the Declaration of Independence citing many
of the same reasons to remove George Bush that Thomas Jefferson cited to separate from King George of
England. Sign their petition to impeach Bush.
Plamegate The Center for American Progress asks the questions the White House press corps should be asking about Karl Rove's involvement in outing former CIA operative Valerie Plame, wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson. See the congress.org web site for local newspaper contact info to urge the media to cover this story.

Update on the Bunker Buster and Senate Vote
Unfortunately the Senate voted down an amendment to deny funds for a new generation of nuclear. Women's Actions for New Directions has set up a page so you can send a message to your senators and either thank them for supporting the amendment or speak out to those who voted against it. Type in your US postal code to find out how your senators voted.
DC Emergency Truth Convergence
A coalition of groups will hold an Emergency Truth Convergence, a meeting in Washington DC, July 22-24. Events include a presentation at the National Press Club, a 911/war deceit rally, a concert as well as a strategy summit involving independent and international journalists. The dates mark the first anniversary of the 911 Commission Report and the third anniversary of the meeting producing the Downing Street Memo.
