U.S. Citizens for Peace & Justice attended the Fridays for Future sit-in on August 23, 2019, to protest the Brazilian Government's war against the Amazon.  President Bolsonaro is, in fact, accused of deliberately letting the Amazon forests burn, in order to permit reusing the land for grazing.  But the Amazon rain forests furnish 20% of the world's oxygen supply…

(ANSA) - ROMA, 23 AGO - Fridays For Future, il movimento dei giovani per il clima ispirato da Greta Thunberg, oggi alle 18 manifesta al Pantheon a Roma e davanti al consolato brasiliano di Milano, per protestare contro il comportamento del governo brasiliano che, secondo il movimento, non fa nulla per contrastare il dilagare degli incendi in Amazzonia.

(ANSA) – ROME, 23 AUG - Fridays For Future, the youth movement against climate change inspired by Greta Thunberg, held a sit-in in Rome, Milan and other cities to protest the government of Brazil which, according to the movement, is doing nothing to stop the spread of wilfires throughout the Amazon. In Rome the sit-in took place before the Pantheon, then moved to the Brazilian embassy in piazza Navona.
